VoIP:Low costs for any unlimited calls
A great advantage of VoIP is that it works similar to email. If you have a very high speed Internet connection or a land phone connected to an Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA), you can make any long distance calls at very cheap rates. There are many VOIP service providers who offer unlimited long distance calls for a cheap monthly fee. No fear of making long distance calls, no surcharges and no fear of telephone bills; this is what makes VoIP the telephone of the future.
Most of the VoIP providers have included many features like call waiting, caller ID and call forwarding. Some of them even provide facilities to block calls or to use messages like “away” or ” busy” or “do not disturb”. Another advantage of the VoIP is that they offer three-way calling with no additional charges. Many more options like speed dialling and distinctive rings are also available.
Well, there is no charge or cost involved for a PC-to-PC call provided that VOIP software is installed in both the computers. But there can be a minimal cost involved when calling from PC to phone.
Another great advantage of VoIP is that you can make calls even when you are travelling; VoIP has the advantage of portability. Having a handset, IP phone and Internet accessibility, you can be in touch with your family, business partners and friends even if you are far away from them; no worry about roaming charges, connectivity problems and long distance charges.

Yes VoIP is cheap and very portable. You don’t need to change phone numbers even if you move to another state, heck even another country!
You can also “carry” your phone number with you. You can be at the airport or hotel and still able to receive and make phone calls. When I travel, I always carry an ATA device so I can use my Onesuite VoIP on hotels. I use my laptop with a softphone if ATA connection isn’t possible.
Sooner or later VoIP will conquer the land lines.
I use onesuite voip service too and it saves me $$$ on my long distance cost.
This is a pertinent post. A very interesting and well written article! Everybody from small business owners to major corporations and not to mention households worldwide are starting to see the benefits of VoIP. VoIP saves money and cost efficient. Whether you’re using VoIP for your residence or your business, you’ll find it to be a lot cheaper than your normal landline telephone cost, be it short or long distance calls. However, the cost varies from one voip provider to another. Some allow unlimited calls and some charges only a small fee.

I just started using Onesuite because a friend recommended it and I find the quality very good for a voip. I’m keeping my land line and see if the quality is consistent before thinking of cutting my home phone service.

During the last years voip becomes a real alternative to traditional landlines. The quality is quite good and there are a lot of additional services. And one of the biggest advantages is that you don’t have to pay for any avaiable in- or outbound line, cause most VoIP providers allow unlimited parallel calls per user.
