Internet Explorer (Web browser from Microsoft), has major security problems. From IE5 to beta version of IE8. Over 10000 web sites got infected. Internet experts asked the users to switch to other web browsers, as soon as you can. In the mean time don’t use IE .

Personally I recommend you to use Firefox, is best of best web browser today. I have also heard good things about Google chrome, but I never used it. As I am addicted to Firefox.
